FAQ

What does the session fee cover?
The session fee covers the session itself which can take anywhere from 30 minutes for a mini-shoot,    to 3 hours ...depending on the type of session.  I will never rush you ..and I love having fun with posing ...and "not" posing which is my favorite type of shoot.  The session fee also includes a customized ordering appointment where I offer prints and various products through my lab. 

What should I / we wear?
It is best to keep clothing simple, avoiding logos or busy patterns. Colors should compliment each other but do not necessarily have to match.   Layers, texture, and accessories always work well also.  Wear clothes that represent you, who you are, ...and what you are comfortable in.  

Where will the photos be taken?
Photos sessions can take place at a location of your choice or I can suggest a location that works best for you.  That's the great thing about using natural light... parks, beaches, the city ... all make fantastic outdoor studios.  It just depends on what your vision is for the day.  I will walk you through it all.  

When will I receive my photos?
I will have a preview posted to my blog / Facebook within a day or two of your session.  The rest of your images will be ready to view through an ordering appointment within two to four weeks or your session date.  For weddings an online gallery will be set up as well. I will work with you to choose the images / collection that best fits your needs.  Photos are personal, and I want you to take home images that you will hold close to your heart.   

How many images will I receive?
You will receive the "best" images, edited for viewing. Usually 30 or more images edited for viewing. Each session is a custom shoot, just for you, so the amount will vary. 

What is the time frame to receive portraits after an ordering appointment?
Prints and cards take one to two weeks and custom items such as canvases and standouts can take up to 3 weeks.

When is payment due?
All session fees are due, in full, at the time of your session.  I will provide a portrait contract as well as a model release that I will ask you to please sign.  This will provide you with the information needed and will also give me permission to use your photos on my website, in my blog, and social media business page.  

Can I purchase digital files? Can I do my own printing?
Yes, digital files are offered a la cart.  However, printing through my lab is recommended to ensure a professional finish. Images from my computer are calibrated with my lab's printers, offering the highest quality possible.

How do we book you?
You may book a session by going to the contact page, filling out your information along with a short messages of what you are looking for in a session ...and clicking send.  You may also contact me via email or phone.  

What to bring?
Bring any outfit changes, hairspray, comb/brush, any props that have special meaning to you that you may want to incorporate into the shoot.  

What if it rains?
Certain parts of the year in FL, afternoon rain showers are to be expected.  Most of the time they are quick, and just leave things greener and smelling pretty awesome.  However, if the weather is truly not cooperating, we can reschedule the session for another date, no worries.
